2020 Call for Board Nominations
Being on the IAA Board is a great way to get involved and give back to both the Association and to the Internet community.
Nominations must meet the IAA Board eligibility within the Association Rules. Incoming Board members are required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement, Code of Conduct, Consent to Act as Board Member and Conflict of Interest Disclosure on joining the Board. Further information on the roles and responsibilities of the Board is available on our website.
The Internet Association of Australia invites members to nominate for election to the Board. Nominations are hereby called for the following positions:
· 1 x Professional Representative (term to run for 2 years)
· 2 x Corporate Representatives (term to run for 2 years)
· 1 x Professional Representative (term to run for 3 years)
· 2 x Corporate Representatives (term to run for 3 years)
All nominations are required to include a written statement by the nominee, as well a written statement from another member (the seconder) in support of the nomination.
The nomination statement should address how the candidate will contribute to the IAA Board in its work to benefit the Internet and those who help build and operate it. A seconder’s statement is also required.
Once nominations are submitted an IAA representative will contact the seconder confirming the supporting statement.
You can submit your nomination on our website. Upon submission of this nomination, it will be automatically sent via email to the Secretary of the Internet Association of Australia.
Once accepted, nominations will be posted on the Association website (contact details will be kept confidential).
Nominations close at midnight AWST Tuesday 20 October 2020. A link containing voting information (if required) will be sent to voting members / contacts on Wednesday 21 October 2020.
This year’s AGM will be held online.

Time: 3.00pm AWST / 5.00pm AEST
Location: Level 2, 151 Macquarie Street, Sydney NSW 2000 and Zoom (video conference)
In accordance with the Association Rules, the official notice of the AGM will be sent 30 days prior to the meeting.
