2020 Call for Board Nominations
Being on the IAA Board is a great way to get involved and give back to both the Association and to the Internet community.
Nominations must meet the IAA Board eligibility within the Association Rules and are required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement and Conflict of Interest Disclosure on joining the Board. Further details on the roles and responsibilities of the Board are also available on our website.
Nominations are hereby called for the following positions:
- 1 x Professional Representative (term to run for 2 years)
- 2 x Corporate Representatives (term to run for 2 years)
- 1 x Professional Representative (term to run for 3 years)
- 2 x Corporate Representatives (term to run for 3 years)
The Association calls for members to nominate for election to the Board. All nominations are required to include a written statement by the nominee, as well a written statement from another member (the seconder) in support of the nomination.
Your nomination statement should address how the nominee will contribute to the IAA Board in its work to benefit the Internet and those who help build and operate it. Once nominations are submitted an IAA representative will contact the seconder regarding submission of the supporting statement. The nomination cannot be accepted until the supporting statement is received.

Nominations are be posted on the Association website (contact details will be kept confidential).
Nominations close at 5pm AWST Saturday 8 August. Voting information (if required) will be issued on Tuesday 18 August.
This year’s AGM will be held online.

Time: 3.00pm AWST / 5.00pm AEST
Location: Zoom (video conference)
In accordance with the Association Rules, the official notice of the AGM will be issued to members 30 days prior to the meeting.
