Notice of the 2020 Annual General Meeting
The Internet Association of Australia Inc (IAA) hereby gives notice of the 2020 Annual General Meeting.
Date: Tuesday 27th October 2020
Time: 1.30pm AWST / 4.30pm AEDT
Location: Zoom (Video Conference) and Level 2, 151 Macquarie Street, Sydney NSW 2000
Relevant access credentials for those who will be attending and voting at the AGM via Zoom are as follows:
Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions on public gatherings and for the safety of all staff and members, IAA strongly recommends that Members attend the AGM via Zoom video conferencing, at the link specified above rather than in person. If you wish to attend in person at the Sydney location, please notify us as soon as possible.
Business to be considered at the meeting
Please find enclosed in the AGM Pack the following documents:
- the agenda for the meeting which contains the list of valid nominations received to date
- Rule 50 which pertains to voting at AGMs
- the minutes of the last Annual General Meeting
- Zoom Guide
At the Annual General Meeting, the board will present for consideration IAA’s annual reports, including the audited financials, in accordance with its obligations under the Associations Incorporation Act 2015 (WA) and recommend appointment of Crunch Auditing as the auditor for financial year 2020-2021.

The nomination period for board members will close at midnight AWST on 20th October 2020 as required under Rule 25. You can submit your nomination on our website, which will be automatically sent via email to IAA’s secretary. Any further nominations will be notified to Members voting contacts via email and published on our website.
Voting Prior to AGM
Voting is now open. Detailed voting information has been issued to the registered voting contact of financial members.
Voting at the AGM
Members at the AGM can vote in person or via the Zoom hands up function or Zoom poll (if a poll is required) with respect to ordinary resolutions and with respect to any questions that may otherwise arise at the meeting.
Please refer to the Zoom Guide in the AGM Pack. You will need the latest version of Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer 11, Edge, or Firefox.
Members will be able to raise questions using the Zoom Q&A or Chat functions.
